Hand me Down

Many of the international students buy the same kind of households every year when they arrive in Gothenburg. And even though some of them get to sell those barely used articles, around *50% is thrown away at the end of their study at Chalmers.

This project aims to address this problem in a more sustainable approach, and what some consider waste, others will use it as part of their new home. So be part of this initiative and donate what you will no longer use and during August 29th, we will have a “loppis” where the new students can get their “new” household for free.

This is part of the thought that to create a circular economy is not only recycling but reusing the articles for as long as possible, until the end of each service life.

We will keep you all up-to-date with the donations and progress of this project.
