With over 11.000 students and a staff exceeding 2500, Chalmers University of Technology could be interpreted as a small city. Avancez (French for go forward, (make) progress) is the motto of our University and what are we actually doing regarding the sustainability measures? What can we do better?
The project group HOME aims to make Chalmers more sustainable from the student perspective and has been working with different issues within Chalmers since 2012.
With HOME we want to make Chalmers campus a better place and better show what’s already been done. It can be about how we can change existing systems like the recycling on campus, creating new stuff like solidary fridges or building sustainable meeting areas. Through HOME we also try to work better with getting all students opinions on how to advance Chalmers with their ideas.
Some project we want to show at HOME are listed below:
Swap Cube! A place in HSB Living Lab with the intention to trade your old stuff instead of throwing them away! Sometimes we have events there with the same idea.

Book Swapping Bookshelf! A bookshelf where you can swap books on Chalmers at us stop Sven Hultins Plats (starting bus stop of bus 55 next to the A building).
